Project Manager
In today’s competitive world, only academics might not suffice. To understand the peculiarities of the industry, I undertook internship at a start-up foundation called Plenar Solutions, Ahmedabad, India in Summer 2016. I was assigned the task to create a personal security application that tracks one’s daily whereabouts and calls the Emergency Contacts in case of potential dangers. The company being relatively new in the industry, I grabbed the chance to undertake more responsibilities. Apart from applying my programming skills to practical implementation, I also got to showcase my leadership and managerial capabilities as I had to both develop the project as well as lead a team of three people. This experience only fuelled my dream of pursuing this stream.

Summer Analyst
The feather in the cap was when I interned at Goldman Sachs in Summer 2017. Those two months of internship under the Asset Management Business unit, not only instilled me with confidence concerning my coding proficiency but also made me aware of my potential for handling huge responsibilities and pressure. I developed a Report Self Service System, which automated the manual process of document validation and generated a final user report using ReactJS and Java. The additional onus of managing the deadlines and moving the project to production stage on time only stimulated my efficiency. This experience of working at a multinational firm polished my networking abilities as I interacted with people from around the globe, hence providing me great exposure to the corporate world.

PLAYPOWER LABS
Software Development Intern
During my last semester, I once again got the opportunity to intern at PlayPower Labs, a start-up company based in San Diego, with a goal to design high-impact learning experiences for underprivileged children around the world. I was working at its Gandhinagar, India office as a Software development intern for six months. During my time there, I was working in a team of two and devised a gamified educational platform using ReactJS and Redux to enhance learning for school children. I also got to consult with the global clients to improve upon the existing system. We even deployed the system online to provide access to client institutes.
